D2 & D3 Championships Schedule

All teams’ schedules are posted!

The CAYSA Championships will be played on November 16 & 17 at the Korompai Soccer Complex in Temple, with one 11v11 field at Miller Park. Please see this page on Centex’s site for the basic field layout at Korompai.

Tournament Field Map. Spectators should sit across the field from their team, not with the opponent’s spectators.

The HQ tent and results boards will be near the concession stand.

A couple of 11v11 games will be at Miller Park in Temple, about 10 minutes from Korompai.

League Vice Presidents will be working to validate points on league games and begin notifying qualifying teams. Any spots not accepted by qualifying teams will be offered to the next best team until all slots are filled.

See the current confirmed teams for the CAYSA Championships and Western District on the teams page.

Some of the following groups are currently not on the schedule for the CAYSA Championships. For groups for which STYSA will not hold Western District Championships, we are looking at having a game between the top two teams to determine a CAYSA (and possibly WD) Champion and runner up.

Division III Boys, 14U. Top teams will advance directly to STYSA’s Western District Playoffs. No WD for 15U and older.

Division III Girls, 11U. Top teams will advance directly to STYSA’s Western District Playoffs.

Division II Boys, 14U, 16U, 18/19U. Top teams will advance directly to STYSA’s Western District Playoffs.

Division II Girls, 12U-19U. Top teams will advance directly to STYSA’s Western District Playoffs.

Check In

Tournament check-in for all teams playing on November 16-17 will be at the CAYSA office in Manor on Friday, November 15, evening between 6pm and 8:30pm. Coaches or managers will need to bring all of the following:

  1. An official roster, signed by your club Registrar
  2. Player cards (laminated, with photos).
  3. KidSafe passes for all adults listed on the roster.
  4. A penalty point form signed by your league VP (these may be available at the check-in, check with your VP).
  5. Your registration fee, unless your club has sent a letter to CAYSA promising to cover your registration fee. Fee payment should be in the form of a check made out to CAYSA.  U11 & U12 teams: $300. U13 and older teams: $325.

The roster and penalty point form will not be returned to you; please make sure you have another copy.

At check-in teams will be required to sign a commitment form for both Western District and for State playoffs.  This form will state that if you qualify for STYSA’s Western District playoffs and, if applicable, State Championships that your team will attend these events. See STYSA’s page for more information about Western District and State playoffs (dates, location, etc.).

During check in you will be provided with:

  1. Tournament rules
  2. Advancement rules
  3. Map of the fields

If you are unable to check in your team Friday night, you must get permission from your competition Vice President and either the Executive Vice President or the CAYSA Registrar to check in Saturday morning.  Under no circumstances will a team that is scheduled to play during the first time slot on Saturday morning be allowed to check in Saturday prior to the game.  If you don’t check in Friday night and there’s an issue with your paperwork Saturday morning at check-in you may not be able to play.  This could mean that your team will be turned away from the championships.  If you check in Friday and there’s an issue there is still some time to get it fixed.

Our usual t-shirt vendor, Fine Designs, will be on site with t-shirts (and other clothes) that can be customized. Look for them near the concession stand  and  HQ tent.

Zach Kracht Photography will be on site and can take panoramic (extra wide) team photos and edit and print them on-site. You can leave with a full team photo. Teams will want to take advantage of this, whether or not it’s a photo with medals.

You can leave the tournament with memories, t-shirts or other gear, unique photos, and maybe some medals.
