D2 & D3 Championships Schedule
CAYSA Fall 21 Championship OFFICIAL SCHEDULE –> Updated 11112021 (8:00PM)
The CAYSA Championships will be played on November 13 & 14 at Crossroads Soccer Complex in Temple. Please see this page on Centex’s site for the basic field layout at Crossroads. Additionally, some of the u11 and u12 games will be taking place in Leander at Serna Athletic Fields. Please visit this page on Leander YSA’s website for basic field layout.

The HQ tent and results boards will be near the concession stand.
League Vice Presidents will be working to validate points on league games and begin notifying qualifying teams. Any spots not accepted by qualifying teams will be offered to the next best team until all slots are filled.

Some of the following groups are currently not on the schedule for the CAYSA Championships. For groups for which divisions winners will be determined not at the CAYSA Championships, we will be having a game between the top two teams to determine a CAYSA (and possibly WD) Champion and runner up. The following divisions will be having a championship game, but will be eligible to advance to Western District Fall Championships.
DIIB 16U – Top 2 teams will advance to WD Fall Championship
DIIIB 14U – Top 2 teams will advance to the WD Fall Championship
DIIG 11U, 12U, 14U – Top 2 teams will advance to WD Fall Championships
Additionally, please review the following spots that have been allocated for CAYSA teams into the WD Championships:

Tournament check-in for all teams playing on November 13-14 will be day of your first match during the Fall CAYSA Championships. Please be aware, YOUR TEAM MUST CHECK IN 45 MINUTES BEFORE THEIR FIRST MATCH – NO EXCEPTIONS. There will be check-in locations at both the Leander site and at Crossroads. You must check-in at the site of your first games.
- An official roster, signed by your club Registrar
- Player cards (laminated, with photos OR Virtual cards)
- KidSafe passes for all adults listed on the roster.
- A penalty point form signed by your league VP (these may be available at the check-in, check with your VP).
- Your registration fee, unless your club has sent a letter to CAYSA promising to cover your registration fee. Fee payment should be in the form of a check made out to CAYSA. U11 & U12 teams: $300. U13 and older teams: $325.
The roster and penalty point form will not be returned to you; please make sure you have another copy.
At check-in teams will be required to sign a commitment form for both Western District and for State playoffs. This form will state that if you qualify for STYSA’s Western District playoffs and, if applicable, State Championships that your team will attend these events. See STYSA’s page for more information about Western District and State playoffs (dates, location, etc.).
During check in you will be provided with:
Check in will be before a team’s first match. With that said, a team must check in 45 minutes before their first match. Please review all the documents needed at check-in and make sure to give yourself enough time before your first match! There will be check-in locations at both the Leander auxiliary location and at Crossroads in Temple. If you do not check-in your team or you are missing documents, your team will be turned away and will not be able to compete in the championship. Please make sure you have every document needed for check-in!
Additionally – please be aware of the following field rules at Crossroads Soccer Complex:
- NO PETS
- NO SMOKING / VAPING
- NO ALCOHOL
- NO BOTTLES
- REFEREE ABUSE WILL LEAD TO REMOVAL FROM FACILITY
Our usual t-shirt vendor, Fine Designs, will be on site with t-shirts (and other clothes) that can be customized. Look for them near the concession stand and HQ tent.
PhotoMules will be on site and can take panoramic (extra wide) team photos and edit and print them on-site. You can leave with a full team photo. Teams will want to take advantage of this, whether or not it’s a photo with medals.
You can leave the tournament with memories, t-shirts or other gear, unique photos, and maybe some medals.
