JULY 28 CAYSA GBM MEETING Jul 29 2010 - STAFF
During the July 28 Governing Board Meeting, Joe Payton, outgoing CAYSA President, was honored for 15 years of dedication to youth soccer in central Texas. He received a sculptured glass award from the membership and a dinner gift certificate from the Executive Committee. Following the meeting Joe visited with many of the clubs' representatives and enjoyed cake and refreshments.
A proposal was presented to the Governing Board Club Representatives to register Rec Plus/Academy teams (U9-U10) and players with US Youth Soccer for the 2010-2011 season. The Club Representatives unanimously voted to accept this proposal. These players and teams were registered with US Club in 2009-2010. Registrars were sent information about changes and instructions on moving forward this season.
The importance of teams registering for the Fall 2010 season was reiterated and deadline dates were once again outlined for the clubs.

Deadline: Expired on 08/20/10
It is VERY important to the planning and scheduling of the fall season that all interested teams meet these deadlines. So please take 5 minutes to complete the online registration process. It is better to register a team by the deadline and drop, then to register late! So if you anticipate that you will be forming a team but are unsure...please register and let your CAYSA VP know as soon as possible if the team will be participating.
There will be a $35.00 charge per team to participate in the CAYSA League. However, if your team fails to meet the team registration deadlines (noted above) then an additional $150.00 late fee will be assessed.
