CAYSA DII & DIII Championships, Nov 12 & 13 (and 19 & 20)

Schedule and Results

WCRP is northwest of the intersection of 1431 and Sam Bass Rd. The turnoff at the light at 1431 is marked as Sam Bass Rd.

CAYSA's Championships for U11 and older teams will be on November 12 & 13 and due to wet conditions, November 19 & 20.

Update! Due to the continuing rain and the conditions of the fields at WCRP, all games at WCRP will be played the following weekend, Nov 19 & 20. Games at Wells Point Park will be played on Saturday the 12th (D3 U11B & U12B and D2 U12B). Details are being sent to involved teams.

The schedule is posted! If there's an obvious placeholder, that spot will be updated when filled.

An updated version of the tournament rules is available.

Check in for games on Nov 19 & 20 will be Nov 18 from 6pm-8pm (as late as 8:30 if you let the office know) at the CAYSA office.

Games on the 19th & 20th will be at Williamson County Regional Park.

Tournament headquarters this weekend will be a tent at the south end of the big oval formed by Borho Rd.

This event is by qualification only and qualifying teams will be invited after the seasonal games are completed on November 6.

All game cards from that final weekend should be faxed or scanned and sent to admin@caysa.org as well as your league VP so we have the information needed to determine which teams will be invited. (Physical game cards wil still need to be sent to the CAYSA office as usual.) League Vice Presidents will determine which teams are eligible based on points earned during seasonal play and possibly the difficulty of the bracket, if brackets were organized to have differing levels of difficulty.

The cost for the CAYSA Championships will be $300 per team for U11-U12 and $325 per team for U13 and older.

Details on registration and check-in will be sent to qualifying teams.

West Nile virus has been detected within Williamson County, but not at this park. Williamson County recommends that all park visitors use insect repellant as a safety precaution.

Top teams in the CAYSA Championship may advance to STYSA's Western District Championship on December 3 & 4 and all teams in the CAYSA Championship will have to sign a committment form that they will advance if eligible. Western District will cost $375 for DIII teams and $450 for DII teams. DII teams which advance from WD to State will have no further fees for State.
